Thornhill Friendship Club

Many years ago, Thornhill Friendship Club was gifted a building at 15 West Morton Street, Thornhill DG3 5ND, with the intention that it be used as a facility for the benefit of the local community.
Our aim is to improve quality of life for people of all ages in Thornhill and surrounding areas by encouraging use of the space for activities that support physical and mental wellbeing.
The uniquely compact space is a welcoming, affordable recreational facility that’s open to all. It was fully refurbished and remodelled in 2018 with the support of grant funding. It is now fully accessible, featuring a front ramp, two wheelchair-friendly toilets, and an accessible garden with raised beds. The building also includes a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with crockery and cutlery available for community use.
We are proud to have recently become a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). Our charity name is Thornhill Friendship Club SCIO and our registered charity number is SC053812.
