The Band is a registered charity and is totally self-supporting. It raises funds by playing at fetes, galas etc, both locally and further afield.  

The emphasis is always on youth and much of the older member’s time is spent on tuition of the younger members. 

They meet on a Monday night in Thornhill Community Centre at 7.30pm.
New members are always welcome. 

The band wears the Ancient Green Douglas Tartan.
