We at the Thornhill Improvement Group are a group of like minded volunteers who meet on a Sunday morning 9.30am (weather permitting) at various locations in the village, our aim is to keep the village  looking at its best by litter picking ,weeding and general  tidying  of the pavements. 
A particular keen gardener in our team looks after the flower beds . 
D&G  Council  help by supplying equipment and collecting the waste bags.
